If you have selected the Dream Wedding Weekend Package, the Bridal Suite and 7 standard rooms are included for two nights. This is part of your package. If you desire to pass the cost of these rooms onto your guests, we encourage you to arrange this personally via Venmo. If, however, you have elected the Wedding Day Package, only the Bridal Suite is included for two nights. We are happy to create a room block that will give you a simple URL link to pass onto your guests, should they wish to stay on premise. Please note that extending the hours of your wedding past 10pm requires all rooms to be booked by you and your guests, as we do not wish to hamper the experience of the general public by a late-night wedding.
While not included in any of our packaging, our three bedroom Cass guesthouse is available for an additional rental fee. The house is at the opposite side of the vineyard, and allows for a more private retreat from the wedding activity. With a living room, laundry room, and full kitchen, the guesthouse can be used for the bridal party, day-of getting ready, or as a retreat for family with younger children.

We do not allow our chairs to be used at the ceremony site, they are reserved for dinners and events in our Barrel Room. All ceremony chairs must be rented from an outside vendor inclusive of set-up and tear-down.

CASS includes all tableware and linens/napkins (cream or black) for welcome lunches, rehearsal dinners and brunches. All dinnerware, flatware and glassware must be rented from an outside vendor for wedding receptions. We do include cream or black linens for receptions if desired, but napkins will still need to be rented from an outside vendor.
No, we maintain all platters and serve-ware necessary for family style dinner service in-house.
As a winery, we require all private events at CASS to purchase a minimum of 1 case per 25 guests.

Absolutely! However, it is in extremely small production. We generally reserve this for Wine Club only and our booked brides. Due to it’s limited production, we encourage you to pre-purchase our sparkling as soon as it is made available (if so desired). Our sparkling changes every two years. Our winemaker chooses the varietal and then works with Rava Winery to set the barrels to the traditional méthode champenoise. This is generally released in the fall, and usually sells out by the first of the year.
Note: If we are out of stock on our sparkling inventory at time of your event, we will omit charging a corkage fee for sparkling brought in for your celebratory toast. All other outside wine, once approved, would be subject to a corkage fee on your invoice.
As our venue facilitates wine operations and other events, communication of timeline and needs is extremely important to us. We allow for ceremony chairs to routinely be delivered and set up as early as Thursday prior to a Saturday wedding. Other rentals of lounge furniture, draping, installations, etc must be arranged with Cass. Often, these can be coordinated for the day before a wedding, however timing will need to be orchestrated. All decor and excess beverages may be dropped off at Cass in the storage room or back veranda one day prior to wedding. Any beverage drop-off must be done with a Cass Manager present. Full table and chair layouts are done by Cass staff same-day or day-prior, dependent on schedule and calendar needs.

Absolutely! Prior to the start of your event, we will establish who will be the decision-maker later that evening. If the pre-purchased wine has run it’s course, our Food & Beverage Manager or Event/Catering Manager will connect with the designated person to discuss if more wine is necessary. Determination will be dependent on both the client’s willingness to spend more on wine for their guests, and the said Manager’s determination if the alcohol consumption is still at a safe level. All Cass staff is RBS trained, so the Manager holds final say. If it is decided to allow for more wine, the Manager will execute a simple bottle count at the end of the night, at which point the client’s card on file will be charged for the additional wine.
We actually allow our clients to provide this themselves. You can drop this off at Cass same day, or one day in advance. As our licensing allows for beer & wine, our staff can serve your beer alongside your Cass wine selections.
Absolutely. These are required to be served on our back veranda due to licensing. We also require that you utilize a vetted and licensed bar service for this purpose. If you do not require distilled spirits for your event, you may use our servers for the beer & wine only bar service, as all of our servers are RBS trained.
Note: We are a “no shot” venue. All guests and bar servers are disallowed from consuming and serving shots of any nature on the property.
We also require, per standard bar service practices, that all bar service closes 30 minutes prior to the end of your event. These policies are in place to encourage safety for all parties, both guests, staff and general public.
If the weather is amenable, we love to host rehearsal dinners under the lights in the Geneseo Inn courtyard with the fire pit close by, or at table amongst the vines. Please know that holding a party at the Geneseo Inn requires a buyout (either as your package, or independently by your guests). If the weather is not permitting, we recommend the veranda with heaters, as it is more protected but still looks lovely with incredible views.
With the Dream Wedding Weekend Package, clients have venue space for 3 hours for rehearsal dinner, 6 hours for reception and 2 hours for brunch. As we have multiple venue spaces, there may be a simultaneous event being executed in another venue space on property. This will be in accordance with parking needs and the intent of separation of parties. Note that a full “buy-out” of all spaces for the full weekend would require a substantial fee that incorporates all potential revenue development from each venue space for each day.
Venue spaces at Cass include: Barrel Room, Geneseo Courtyard (requires full buyout of Geneseo Inn), Cellar Door, Verandas, Vine Row, Ceremony Tree and Picnic Area.
Cass uses an outside shuttle company and provides one 55-person shuttle for 9 hours for your event, if included in your contract. Once scheduled, you and your coordinator will be introduced to the transportation company for the sake of organizing timelines and pick-up/drop-off locations.
